Our History: Village Square Booksellers was founded in 1992 and purchased by Pat Fowler in November 2000. Our Poetry Open Mic with the River Voices was started the first month. On April 28, 2002, a Moving Party was held and over 40 customers & friends moved the bookstore to its current location in the former Hinds Department Store, part of the Windham Hotel building.
